Representative of the Embassy of I.R. Iran takes part in GIT’s World Jewelry Design Awards 2025

Following the announcement of two Iranian designers out of four finalists of the GIT’s World Jewelry Design Awards 2025, the Gem & Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), as the organizer of this event, invited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to attend the award ceremony. Thus, Mr. Faroughi attended the event on behalf of the embassy.

It is worth noting that Iranian artists won the second and fourth awards. This round of the competition, with the participation of 899 works from a total of 37 countries, ended on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, with the announcement of the 30 best designs including 2 out of 9 Iranian designs being finalists.

Ms. Shirin Kazemi with the design called "Time Network" and Mr. Hamed Jafari with the design "Eternal Echo" succeeded in attracting the judges' votes.

Ms. Kazemi was honored while attending the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangkok and meeting with H.E. Nassereddin HEIDARI, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand.
