Ambassadors meeting with the Chairman and members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Thai Senate regarding the military aggression of the Zionis

On July 2, 2025, H.E. Mr. Nassereddin Haidari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to SCAP, met with H.E. Mr. Nirat Yoophakdi, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate of the Kingdom of Thailand, along with representatives from other committees at the Senate Building.

H.E. Mr. Nassereddin Haidari rejected the false narrative of the Zionist regime regarding the concept of "imminent threat from Iran" and "legitimate defense," presenting undeniable evidence of the impact of the war and the predetermined, pre-planned, illegal aggression by the Zionist regime and the United States against Iranian civilians and people. He emphasized that this aggression is a clear violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and all fundamental principles of international relations.

H.E. Mr. Nassereddin Haidari stressed that ignoring the blatant violations of international law and the United Nations Charter by the Zionist regime and the United States has created a dangerous precedent in international relations and further weakens the rule of law at the international level, leading to a more chaotic and perilous world.

H.E. Mr. Nassereddin Haidari stated that security cannot be achieved by destroying the security of others, and the use of force and military attacks against other countries cannot be tolerated. Therefore, peace-loving countries, including Thailand, must play an important role in supporting justice and preventing the escalation of tensions.
