Ambassador Heidari attends the 2nd Anniversary of the Zakat

H. E. Dr. Heidari Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran attended the second Anniversary of Zakat Fund of the Sheikul Islam of Thailand.

H. E. Dr. Heidari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, attended the second Anniversary of Zakat Fund of the Sheikul Islam of Thailand. the 2nd Anniversary of the Zakat Fund of the Sheikul Islam of Thailand was held on Sunday, September 15, 2026, with the participation of H. E. Mr. Arun Boonchom, Sheikhul Islam of Thailand, H. E. Mr. Muhamad Noor Matha, Chairman of the Council of Advisors to the Prime Minister (former Speaker of the National Assembly of Thailand), members of the Zakat Fund and Ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Malaysia, Oman, as well as representatives of the embassies of Egypt and Brunei Darussalam, with the aim of presenting the annual report on the performance of the Zakat Fund and also promoting the culture of Zakat.

At this ceremony, the honorable Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, as the Dean of the Islamic Diplomatic Corps, delivered a speech. At the end, the Sheikhul Islam of Thailand, commended the efforts of officials of the Zakat foundation and the attendance of diplomatic at the event.

 According to a report submitted by the Zakat Fund of the Sheikhul Islam of Thailand, over the past two  years, more than 220 field visits have been made to vulnerable people in 77 provinces of Thailand, and nearly 8 millionbaht from Zakat donations have been spent to meet the needs of more than 2,000 people throughout Thailand.
