Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Joins Annual Meeting on Muslim World Policy

On May 29, 2025, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand participated in the annual meeting on Muslim World Policy, themed "BRICS: Opportunities and Challenges for the Muslim World and the Changing Role of Thailand in the World."

The meeting was organized by the Center for Muslim World Policy Studies, Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University. Discussions focused on the impact of BRICS membership on Thailand towards the Muslim world, and Thailand's political perspectives on being a BRICS member. Additionally, the Ambassador of Russia to Thailand also delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has been a BRICS member since 2024, and Thailand has been a dialogue partner of the organization since 2025.
