High-ranking Thai officials, foreign ambassadors sign condolence book at Iran’s embassy

High-ranking Thai officials and foreign ambassadors signed a book of condolence at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangkok, commemorating the martyrdom of the Iranian president, minister of foreign affairs, and their companions.

 

The book of condolence was opened following the death of His Excellency Ebrahim Raisi, the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the minister of foreign affairs, and their companions in a tragic helicopter crash.

 

Thai political, economic and cultural figures along with foreign ambassadors and diplomats as well as many representatives of the private sector visited the embassy to pay tribute to the martyrs.

 

Top Thai and foreign officials including the deputy prime minister, minister of foreign affairs, minister of labor, speaker of the parliament, Chularatchamontri (Sheikhul Islam), regional director general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ESCAP administrative secretary and foreign ambassadors from countries like Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Russia, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam signed the book of condolence.
